My name’s Laura Decker.I am a Holland girl.My parents are both sailors(海员. I was born on 20 September 1995.①I live in the boat for four years with my parents.At the age of six, I got my first boat.With the help of my father I learn to sail(航行）it by myself.②When I was 10 years old,I got my second boat.It’s name was guppy.I often sailed it during my summer holidays.In May 2009,I sailed from Maurik,Netherlands to Lowestoft,England.

In August 2009,I made a plan to travel around the world with the boat.Guppy.③It took me about a year to prepare for the trip.I started the trip on 4 August 2010.Life was very hard to sail on the sea.I couldn’t get lots of food and fresh water.Sometimes I couldn’t sleep.But I worked hard. I finished the trip on 1 January 2012 when I was 16 years old.

I am beginning to write a book to tell my children about my life on the sea now .And I don’t want young men to learn from me, because it is not safe to sail on the sea.I’ll go to school to learn more things about sailing.
