读写任务型写作要求学生去发表议论的主题,往 往就是所阅读的短文要提示的某一种主题.所 以,考生可以从命题者所给出的话题里找到中 心词,防止概括的要点离题.譬如,就 “ Appreciation makes us more confident.” 这个主题发表意见的话, “ appreciation ” 就 是原文的中心词,而如果是就 “ Does Pressure Do Harm to Students? ” 这一主 题发表自己的意见时, “ pressure” 就是这一 中心的中心词.

二找中心句’
找到中心词后,我们应该到文中去找中心 句.众所周知,说明文或议论文的中心句 往往在开头或结尾,有时也会在开头或 结尾,有时也会在开头的第二句,或者隐 藏在文章的某个地方.而故事性的文章 往往没有现成的主题句,需要自己去归 纳总结.
