Abstract

Translation of public signs becomes more and more important nowadays. This thesis is about memetics. Memetics is a theory of mental content based on an analogy with Darwinian evolution, originating from the popularization of Richard Dawkins’ 1976 book The Selfish Gene. The focus of the research content is the translation of public signs from the theory of memetics. Translation of public sign from this theory can make the information easier to understand to native English reader. In this writing, the writer use approach of adapting, borrowing, creating from memetics perspective to make the translation of public signs more and more Specification and concise. What’s more, by this ways can make it easier for readers to better understand its content to express.

摘要

公示语的翻译在今天变得越来越重要。本文的写作是基于模因论。模因论是基于类比的心理内容理论与达尔文的进化论,源自1976年理查德•道金斯的普及著作《自私的基因》。研究内容是从模因论的角度看公示语翻译。公共标志的翻译从这个理论视角进行研究，可以使信息为英语读者更容易理解。本文从模因论的角度，用改编，借用，创新三种方法进行公示语的翻译，使公示语的翻译更加规范化，简洁化，方便读者更好地理解其要表达的内容。关键词: 模因；翻译；公示语；模因论
