英语教学活动设计

标题:What’s the matter?

教学对象:八年级下课时:1

一、设计理念:

本节课本着“学生为课堂主体”的指导思想,根据英语新课程标准英语听力的教学要求设计,听力环节与其他环节,特别是与说紧密结合,为学生听和说能力的提高在语言和内容方面奠定基础。

二、活动目标:

知识目标:(1)了解“What’s the matter?”句型并能在日常生活中灵活运用。

(2)能认读材料中表述病痛的词汇。

能力目标:能听懂接近自然语速、熟悉话题的简单语段,识别主题,获取主要信息。

情感态度目标:有学习英语的愿望和兴趣,乐于参与各种英语实践活动。

学习策略目标:在学习中积极思考,主动探究,善于发现语言的规律并能运用规律举一反三。

文化意识目标:了解英语国家的人际交往习俗。

三、活动内容:

Step1 Lead-in

[活动说明]以昨晚睡得晚身体不适引出听力材料

[教学用语]Good morning, everyone. Did you sleep well last night? Yes? No? Oh, some class didn’t sleep well last night. Neither did I. I went to bed late last night, and I don’t feel good now. Today, we will listen to some dialogues and know some people. They also feel sick. Before listening to the tape, let’s play a guessing game.

Step2 Guessing game

[活动准备]表示病痛的图片。

[活动说明]让学生通过病痛的图片猜测意思,让学生熟悉表示病痛的词汇。

[教学用语]Look at the picture. What does it mean? How to say it in English? It’s toothache. Listen and repeat. Toothache. Look at this picture.(Show the other pictures to the students,and teach them the words.) Ok, everyone did well.

Step3 Take note

[活动准备]录音

[活动说明]让学生听录音并记笔记,听完第一遍录音后,小组讨论所得。

[教学用语] Now, let’s listen to the tape. I need you to take some notes at the first time, and then I need you to discuss with your partner and complete the notes.

[活动说明]让学生讨论减缓病痛的方法。

[教学用语]Ok, everyone did well. And now, let’s have a discuss. Do you have some ideas to relieve these discomfort? Discuss with your partner, and then I’ll ask some students to show your ideas.

五、活动评述:

通过话题引入听力材料,并利用猜意思的方法让学生了解单词,从而顺利展开听力练习,让学生在听中抓住主旨,关键,学会提取材料中的重点,提高学生听和说的能力,为学生的英语学习奠定基础。
