Reading (1)教学设计

一、教学目标

1.掌握本课重点词汇和短语:proper, kiss, close, conversation, avoid, subject, public, push, touch, excuse, till, loudly, as, greet, behave, bump, saying, Roman, shake sb.’s hand, in public等。

2. 掌握本课重点句型:

What’s the proper way to greet people there?

They’ll say “excuse me” and be polite enough to wait till you move.

2. 能够读懂有关英国礼仪的采访。

3. 能够谈论并比较中国与英国在礼仪上的差异。

4. 培养学生注重自身言行,发扬礼仪之邦的传统。

Step 1 Revision

Step 2 Pre-reading

1. Free talk

习,为阅读活动的展开作铺垫。

2. Read and match the words with the Chinese meaning.

【设计意图】引导学生学习新词汇和短语,扫清阅读障碍。

Step 3 While-listening

1.Skim the passage and answer the questions.

【设计意图】通过快速阅读,帮助学生了解文章大意,整体理解文章主题。

2.Read and match the manners with the lines.

3. Read Line 1—Line 6 and answer the questions.

4. Read Line 7—Line 9 and complete the chart.

5. Read Line 10—Line 17& Line 20—Line 22 and fill in the blanks.

Step 4 Post-reading

1. Match the words with the meanings. Write the correct letters in the blanks.
