procedures
Pre-
speaking(10 min, the whole class):
1.Shows
the video The four seasons and ask the students to pay attention to the content of the video. learn some words about seasons.
2.Review and
3.Leads
the students to discuss the features of each seasons using words learned just now and leads in the question “What’s your favorite season?”

able to read the dialogue on the book and make a role play 2.Be able to use sentence patterns: What’s your favourite season?/I prefer...in a dialogue about seasons with the help of pictures and context.
Learning content
Describe
the features of different seasons Describe their favorite seasons and explain the reasons. Talk about what they can do in different seasons.
Post 1.
speaking(10 min):
Students will tell his or her partner what his or her own favourite season is and discuss the reasons. Make a simple record.( in pairs)
While- speaking(20
min): 1.Listen to the record and pay attention to the intonation. (indivisual) 2.Imitate the conversation to get familiar with the sentence patterns.(indivisual) 3.Work in pairs, take turn to act out as Xiaoming and Ben.(in pairs)
