I'm going to tell you all about my two favoritest subjects in school - math and English! I just love them so much. Some kids don't like these classes but I think they are super duper fun.Let me start by telling you why math is the best. I mean, who doesn't love working with numbers?! It's like a big puzzle or game trying to solve all the problems. I get such a rush when I finally figure out a tough equation after thinking really hard. Math makes my brain feel like a muscle that's getting stronger every time I use it.One of the coolest things about math is that there are so many different things you can do with it. Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division - the classics! But then there's also fractions, decimals, percentages, algebra, geometry and even crazy stuff like calculus when you get to higher levels. Every type of math helps train your mind to think in different ways.My math teacher Mrs. Thompson makes it really fun too. Sometimes she has us play games or do activities that sneak math in without us really noticing at篇2My Favorite Subjects are Math and EnglishHi there! My name is Jamie and I'm in the 5th grade. School is really fun for me because I love learning new things every day. Out of all my classes though, my absolute favorites are math and English. I could spend hours working on math problems or writing creative stories and essays. Let me tell you why I enjoy these subjects so much!Math is like a giant puzzle that never gets old.篇3My Favorite Subjects Are Math and EnglishHi! My name is Timmy and I'm in 5th grade. My two favorite subjects in school are math and English. I love learning about numbers and doing math problems. I also really like reading books, writing stories, and learning new words in English class. Let me tell you all about why I love these two subjects so much!Math Is The Best!I think math is super fun and interesting. I love solving math problems and trying to figure out the answers. It's like a big puzzle or mystery that you get to crack! Some kids think math is boring with all the numbers, but I think the numbers are the best part. They're like a secret code that you need to decipher. My favorite thing in math is algebra. I know it sounds really hard and complicated, but I think algebra is awesome! You get to use letters instead of just numbers which is way cooler. It's like cracking a secret spy code with the variables. I feel like a math detective solving for x and y.Another thing I love about math is that there is always a right answer if篇4My Favorite Subject is MathMath is the best subject ever! I love everything about it - the numbers, the equations, even the word problems. Math just makes so much sense to me. When the teacher is doing a lesson, it's like the numbers are dancing around in my head. I can see allthe patterns and understand exactly what to do. Math is awesome! In kindergarten, we started off pretty easy with just counting and adding small numbers. I thought it was fun, but I was really good at it too. The teacher would have us put split green and red counting bears into cups and then ask how many total. Easy peasy! I always got those right. Then in first grade, we moved on to subtraction. Now that was a little trickier at first. You had to keep track of what you started with and then take some away. But once I got the hang of it through practicing a bunch, subtraction problems became just as easy as addition. My favorite was always the missing addend problems where you'd have something like 5 + __ = 9 and you had to figure out the blank. In second grade, we finally got to do some multiplication! I'd been trying to teach myself at home by skip counting and making my own little times tables, so I was super excited. Multiplying just made total sense to me - it's like a shortcut for repeated addition. Instead of saying 5 + 5 + 5 + 5, you can just put 5 x 4 and get 20. Brilliant!By third grade, we were dividing too. I'm not gonna lie, division was pretty tricky for me at first. I had a hard timewrapping my little brain around what it really meant and how to do it. But my amazing teacher Mrs. Patterson was so patient and would re-explain it to me in different ways until it clicked. Once I made the connection that division is just the opposite of multiplication and figured out about remainders, it all became clear. Bring on those long division problems! Now that I'm in fourth grade, we're working on fractions and decimals too. I find the fraction concepts really interesting - seeing how numbers can be broken into parts and then put back together in different ways. My favorite fractions are quarters because it reminds me of the coins. Decimals make sense to me as just another way to represent fractions as parts of a whole. I like seeing the same value represented different ways, like 1/2 = 0.5.Besides just crunching the numbers, I love doing all the different kinds of word problems too. Patterns, sequences, logic puzzles, geometry - I eat that stuff up! Solving a really tricky problem and figuring out the right calculations to get the answer is so satisfying. It's like finally putting together the last few pieces of a huge jigsaw puzzle. What really puts math over the top as my absolute favorite though are all the fun activities, games and manipulatives we getto use. Playing Math Ball grounds to practice multiplication facts, using colored counting tiles to model algebraic equations, competing in timed drills on SplashLearn - that's when math is at its best! Getting to be active and hands-on makes math 100 times more engaging and helps make the concepts stick in my mind better.I also have to give a huge shout-out to all my excellent math teachers over the years. From the very beginning with Ms. Allen in kindergarten making us sing goofy counting songs to my current teacher Mr. Patel who always makes math relatable with real-world examples, they've all been amazing. A great math teacher who is passionate and finds creative ways to explain things is key. I wouldn't be nearly as excited about math without them. Some kids think math is hard, boring or pointless, but I completely disagree. Math is all around us! Every time we're counting anything, telling time, calculating how many video games we can buy with our allowance - that's all math. It's such a fundamental part of our lives. Math teaches you critical thinking, problem-solving and logic skills that you need for just about everything. Plus, a strong foundation in math opens up so manyamazing career opportunities like engineering, computer science, finance and more.I'm honestly not sure yet what I want to be when I grow up, but I definitely want it to involve a lot of math. Maybe I'll be an architect and get to use geometry and measurements to design cool buildings. Or a video gamedesigner and篇5My Favorite Subjects Are Math and EnglishMath and English are totally my favorite subjects in school! I love everything about them. Math is so much fun because you get to work with numbers and solve little brain teasers. English is awesome too because you get to read cool stories and write your own tales. Let me tell you all about why I love math and English so much!Math Is AmazingMath is the best subject ever! I get so excited when it's time for math class. I love crunching numbers and figuring out number patterns and puzzles. Math problems feel like little mysteries that I get to solve using my brain power. It's like being a math detective! One of my favorite things about math is working on word problems. I like having to read the story carefully to understand what the question is really asking. Then I get to decide which operation to use - addition, subtraction, multiplication or division - to find the answer. Solving word problems makes me feel like a super genius!Another thing I love about math is learning new concepts and strategies. Like when we started learning about fractions and how to add, subtract, multiply and divide them. At first it seemed really hard and confusing, but then it clicked and I was like "Oh I get it now!" Learning new math skills gives me such a rush.Overall, math is just an incredibly fun subject. I get immense satisfaction from getting a difficult math problem correct. It's exciting trying to think through the logic and steps to reach the solution. I love the feeling of my brain working hard on a challenging math task. Hooray for math! The Wonder of EnglishEnglish is seriously the coolest subject too though! Reading and writing are two of my all-time favorite activities. I get such joy out of getting lost in a great book's imaginary world and characters. Writing lets me tap into my own creativity and express myself through stories. One of the best parts of English class is our read-alouds and class novel studies. I adore listening to my teacher use different voices and accents to bring the books to life. Analyzing and discussing the plots, themes and character motivations afterwards helps me appreciate the stories on a deeper level too.Creative writing assignments are probably my favorite part of English. I love when we get to just let our imaginations run wild and write any type of fiction story we want. Crafting interesting characters, detailed settings, and unpredictable storylines lets me showcase my creativity in such a fun way.Learning about the mechanics of writing like grammar rules, sentence structure, and vocabulary is fascinating too. It's like cracking a secret code for how to communicate clearly and vividly through the written word. Spelling tests and vocabulary quizzes are always a fun challenge for me.English is simply an awesome subject! Between the reading, writing, analyzing literature, learning grammar and expanding my vocabulary, English class never ceases to educate and entertain me. I walk away from every English lesson having learned something new and useful. Two Subjects I AdoreSo as you can clearly see, math and English are my two absolute favorite subjects. They both engage my mind in such unique and interesting ways. Math lets me flex my logical thinking and problem-solving abilities, while English allows me to explore my creative and communication skills.I honestly can't decide which subject I love more - they're both tied for my top pick! Math fills me with a sense of accomplishment when I master a new concept. English sparks my imagination and fuels my passion for storytelling. I put my full effort into both math and English because they are endlessly fascinating and rewarding subjects.I feel so fortunate that I get to study math and English and learn from such incredible teachers. Their enthusiasm篇6My Favorite Subjects are Math and EnglishI love going to school! There are so many fun things to learn and do with my friends. My two absolute favorite subjects are math and English. I look forward to those classes every single day!Math is like a big puzzle that I get to solve. I love working through all the number problems and equations. It feels like cracking a secret code. When I finally get the right answer after trying a few different things, it's the best feeling ever! I get such a rush of pride and happiness. Math makes me use my brain in a different way than my other classes. In math, we learn about adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing numbers. We've started learning fractions this year too, which seemed super confusing at first. But my teacher is really great at explaining things clearly. Now I can add and subtract fractions like a pro! I'm working on multiplying and dividing them next. My teacher says I'm a math whiz.Sometimes we get to play math games or do worksheets as a group. I love when we split into teams and race to see who can solve the problems fastest. My team always crushes it because I'm so quick with numbers in my head. The other kids call me a little calculator! I just have a knack for math.English is my other favorite class. I'm a strong reader and writer for my age. I love getting lost in books and exploring different worlds through stories. English is where I can let my creative mind run free.We just started a really cool unit on poetry. I had never paid much attention to poems before, but now I see how amazing they are. You can express so much with just a few carefully chosen words. It's like crafting mini works of art with language. My teacher says I have a real talent for poetry. For our latest assignment, I wrote。

英语作文我最喜欢的科目优秀范文My Favorite SubjectSchool is pretty fun most of the time, but my favorite part is definitely my science class! I just love science so much. Whenever it's time for science, I get really excited. Science is just so interesting and there's always something new to learn and discover. In science, we get to do all sorts of cool experiments and activities. Just the other day, we made these neat little hovercrafts out of CDs, balloons, and bottle caps. We blew up the balloons and attached them to the CDs with the bottle caps, and then let them go - they actually hovered above our desks for a little while! It was so awesome. Our teacher said it worked because of the air pressure pushing down on the CD from the balloon. Very clever.Another time, we made these awesome volcano models out of clay, baking soda, and vinegar. We shaped little mountains out of the clay, put some baking soda in the top, and then poured vinegar into the baking soda. It fizzed up like crazy and overflowed out of the volcano! Our teacher told us that was because of a chemical reaction between the baking soda andvinegar. Apparently they produce a gas when they're combined like that. It looked just like a real volcano erupting. I could watch that experiment all day!I love all the hands-on stuff we get to do in science. But I also really enjoy learning about how the world works through our textbooks and lessons. Last semester, we spent a whole unit studying the solar system and outer space. I thought it was so fascinating learning about all the different planets - their names, how big they are, what they're made of, how far away they are from the Sun. My favorite planet is definitely Saturn because of its super cool rings. I also loved finding out about stars, galaxies, comets, and other incredible things in the cosmos.Do you know what a black hole is? It's this crazy thing in space that has such intense gravity that nothing can escape from it, not even light! They form when really massive stars explode at the end of their lives. Just thinking about something like that totally blows my mind. The universe is filled with such weird and amazing phenomena. I want to learn all about them when I grow up.But of course, it's not just space stuff that's awesome in science class. We also study all kinds of other topics, like the human body, plants, animals, weather, and the environment. Lastweek, we learned how the heart pumps blood all around our bodies. Did you know the heart is actually a muscle? An incredibly hard-working one too - it's always pumping 24/7 to keep us alive. Our bodies are like these intricate machines with so many different interconnected parts. It's all quite remarkable when you think about it.Speaking of the environment, I really care a lot about taking care of our planet Earth. In science, we've been learning how important it is to reduce, reuse, and recycle. We've also talked about things like deforestation, pollution, climate change, and endangered species. It makes me feel sad that we humans have caused so much damage to the natural world. But I'm hopeful because we've also learned about ways we can help, like using less plastic, driving and flying less, and planting more trees. I really want to do my part to protect the Earth and make it a healthier place for everyone. My absolute favorite thing about science though is just how many questions there are to explore. Every time we finish learning about one topic, there are a million other questions that come up about other things. Like, why is the sky blue? What makes magnets work? How do airplanes stay up in the air? Where do rocks come from? What are dreams? Why do we gethiccups? The quest for knowledge is truly never-ending in science. There's always some new mystery to unravel and puzzle to solve. That's what makes it all so endlessly fascinating to me.I have so many dreams for my future and a big part of them involve science in some way. Maybe I'll be an astronaut and travel to the Moon, Mars, or beyond. How amazing would that be? Or perhaps I'll become a medical scientist and find cures for diseases. Orrrrrr, I could be a marine biologist and discover a new species of shark or whale. Or maybe even an engineer who designs super-fast spaceships and planes. Heck, why can't I do all those things? A girl can dream! At the very least, I know for sure I want to keep learning and reading as much as I can about science topics. I'll never get tired of finding out new facts about how the world works. Whenever I learn something new in science class, I make sure to go home and tell my parents all about it at dinner. Sometimes my little brother gets annoyed because I ramble on and on. But my parents always listen closely and ask me lots of follow-up questions. They're really supportive of my passion for science.Well, I could honestly keep going on and on about science all day. But I suppose I should wrap this up so I can go play outside for a bit before dinnertime. Just know that I absolutelylove science with my whole heart. It's hard to put into words how amazing it is to me. I feel so fortunate that I get to learn about it every single day at school. Not everyone is as interested in science as I am, and that's okay. We all have our own things that excite us. But for me, science will always be number one. The greatest subject there is. It's endless joy and endless curiosity all rolled into one. I can't wait to see what other incredible wonders I'll get to discover over the years ahead!。

我最喜欢的科目英语作文,七年级,简单全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite Subject is EnglishHi there! My name is Jessica and I'm in 7th grade. Today I want to tell you all about my absolute favorite subject in school - English class! I know some kids might think English is boring, but I totally disagree. English is the best and I'm going to explain why.First of all, English class is where we get to read awesome books and stories. Reading is so much fun because you get to go on adventures and visit different worlds without even leaving your desk. Some of my favorite books we've read in English this year are "The Giver" by Lois Lowry and "A Wrinkle in Time" by Madeleine L'Engle. The Giver was about this future society that seemed perfect at first, but then you realized how controlling and messed up it really was. A Wrinkle in Time had these kids traveling through a tesseract to save their dad on an evil planet. So crazy! In English, we don't just read the books though. We get to discuss them and share our thoughts and theories with our classmates. I love hearing what everyone else thinks the symbolism or deeper meanings could be. Sometimes my English teacher will even let us act out scenes from the books, which is really fun. Once, we made props and everything to perform a chapter of The Giver. I got to be the main character, Jonas!Another reason why English is my favorite is because of all the creative writing we get to do. I've always loved putting my ideas down on paper and making up stories. This year, we've written short stories, poems, scripts for plays, and even started working on novels. For our latest assignment, we had to pick an event from history and write a first-person narrative like we were there. I chose the Boston Tea Party and wrote it from the perspective of a patriot named Samuel. It was a lot of work, but so satisfying when I finished my final draft. Not only is English great for reading and writing creatively, but we also learn really important skills too. We've covered things like grammar, vocabulary, analyzing literature, doing research, and giving presentations. These skills will definitely help me out a ton in the future when I'm older. Being able towrite clearly and speak in front of others is so crucial for many jobs and careers. What I appreciate most, though, is how my English teacher really encourages us to think for ourselves. She's always pushing us to look at things from multiple angles and not just accept everything at face value. With the books we read, she has us examine different perspectives and decide what we think the author's purpose or message was. She also has us write persuasive essays where we have to develop our own viewpoints and back them up with evidence.I can't forget to mention how fun the projects are that we get to do in English class too! Earlier this year, we had to create games based on figurative language like personification, hyperboles, and idioms. My group made a life-sized board game where you had to act out whichever figurative language you landed on. Another time, we did these artistic writing portfolios where we wrote poems and stories and then illustrated them with our own drawings and decorations.Honestly, English is just such a welcome break from more rigid subjects like math where there's usually just one right answer. With English, there's so much room for creativity, personal expression, and discovering your own voice and style asa writer. You get to explore so many interesting ideas through literature while building up all these critical thinking and communication abilities.I'm sure I'll appreciate having such a strong English background when I get to high school and have to write research papers and analyze very complex books and plays. I might even want to be an English teacher myself one day so I can share my love of reading and writing with future students. Or maybe I'll become an author or journalist - how cool would that be?!Well, those are the main reasons why English is hands-down my favorite class. Between the fun creative projects, engaging class discussions, valuable skills we learn, and joy of reading great books and writing stories, English is simply the best. I look forward to continuing to grow as a reader, writer, thinker and student of English for many more years!篇2My Favorite Subject is EnglishHi there! My name is Alex and I'm in the 7th grade. Today I want to tell you all about my favorite subject in school - English class! I just love everything about it. Reading awesome books, learning new words, writing fun stories...English is the best! One of the main reasons I enjoy English so much is because of all the interesting books we get to read. Some of my favorite stories we've read in class are stories like "The Giver" by Lois Lowry and "The Outsiders" by S.E. Hinton. But my absolute favorite book we read last year was "Wonder" by R.J. Palacio. It's about this boy named Auggie who has a facial deformity and has to start going to a regular school after being homeschooled his whole life. The book shows how Auggie overcomes bullying and makes some true friends who accept him for who he is on the inside. It's such an inspiring and heartwarming story!Reading great books like these is awesome, but we also get to learn lots of valuable skills in English class too. My teacher is always having us do fun writing exercises to practice things like descriptive writing, persuasive writing, and storytelling. Last month, we had to write a descriptive paragraph about our favorite food, trying to use as much detail as possible to describe how it looks, smells, and tastes. I wrote about pizza and used lots of yummy words like "gooey cheese," "zesty tomato sauce," and "crispy crust." Mmm, just thinking about it makes me hungry!Another thing I love about English is learning new vocabulary words. Whenever I come across an unfamiliar word in a book or lesson, I jot it down to look up the definition later. Myvocabulary notebook is filling up quickly! Some of my favorite new words I've learned recently are "ephemeral" which means lasting a very short time, "melancholy" which means a feeling of sadness or pensive thoughts, and "plethora" meaning an excessive amount of something. I love trying to use these fancy new words whenever I can to sound super smart.Of course, no English class would be complete without doing lots of writing too. We're always working on new writing assignments like personal narratives, research reports, poetry, and more. One of my favorite writing projects we did this year was creating our own short fiction stories. I wrote a totally epic story about a group of kids who discover a magical wardrobe that transports them to a fantasy world filled with talking animals, evil witches, and kingdoms waiting to be liberated from darkness. Getting to use my creativity and imagination to craft an entire little world of my own was just so much fun.English class has also helped me to become a much better writer overall. Thanks to my teacher's feedback and guidance,I've learned good writing skills like varying my sentence structure, using transition words to improve flow, incorporating descriptive details, writing clear and focused paragraphs, and self-editingmy work. These skills definitely come in handy for writing assignments in my other classes as well.Another reason why English is my favorite subject is because of all the interesting discussions we have as a class. Whetherwe're analyzing characters and themes from a book, debating different perspectives on a controversial topic, or just having an open conversation about ideas that interest us, I always look forward to the lively discussions. My classmates all have such unique thoughts and viewpoints to contribute. I love hearing what everyone has to say and it really gets me thinking in new ways. Our English class discussions have also taught me a lot about effectively communicating my own thoughts and opinions. I've become more confident when it comes to speaking up, clearly explaining my point of view, backing it up with evidence, respectfully disagreeing with others, and considering other perspectives as well. These are all such important skills, not just for doing well in English, but for communicating better in all areas of life.So as you can probably tell by now, I'm absolutely obsessed with English class! From reading amazing literature to improving my vocabulary and writing abilities to engaging inthought-provoking discussions, English is where it's at. My love of English even extends beyond the classroom. For example, I've started my own blog where I get to write about anything I'm interested in, like movies, video games, sports, you name it! I also try to read as many books as I can for fun in my free time. I'm a total bookworm!English class has taught me that communication andself-expression through reading, writing, and speaking is so important. After all, it's how we share our ideas, tell our stories, and connect with others. That's why English will always be my favorite subject. Thanks for reading my essay! Let me know if you love English class as much as I do.篇3My Favorite Subject: EnglishHi there! My name is Jamie and I'm going to tell you all about my favorite subject in school - English class! I just love everything about it. Reading cool books, writing fun stories, and learning new words and grammar rules. It's the best! One of my favorite parts of English is reading the novels and short stories we get assigned. We just篇4My Favorite SubjectHi! My name is Amy and I'm in 7th grade. Today I want to tell you about my favorite subject in school - English class! I just love everything about English. Let me explain why.First of all, English class is where we get to read the most amazing stories and books. My favorite book we read this year was "The Giver" by Lois Lowry. It's about this boy named Jonas who lives in a really strange society where everything is controlled. But then he gets picked as the Receiver of Memory and his life changes forever. I couldn't put the book down because I desperately wanted to know what would happen to Jonas!Reading those exciting stories in English class makes my imagination go wild. When I'm reading, it's like the characters just come alive in my mind. I can picture exactly what they look like and how their voices might sound. The settings and events are so vivid too. It's better than watching a movie because the mental pictures are whatever I imagine them to be.Another thing I love about English class is that we get to discuss and analyze the deeper meanings in the stories we read.Like in "The Giver," we talked a lot about ideas like freedom, individuality, and the importance of memories. Sharing our different interpretations and insights makes me think in totally new ways about the world. English class definitely makes me a better critical thinker!Writing is my favorite part of English though. I've always loved putting my thoughts and ideas down on paper through words. This year we've gotten to write all kinds of fun things like short stories, poems, persuasive essays, and more. Whenever I've got a story idea brewing in my mind, I can't wait to start writing it out.Playing around with descriptive language is my favorite part of writing. I love finding the perfect combination of words to paint a clear picture in the reader's imagination. Like when I described the mysterious abandoned house at the start of my ghost story: "The decrepit Victorian house looked like it was frowning, with its sagging front porch and dusty, curtain-less windows like vacant eyes staring out at me." See what I mean? The right words can make your writing really come alive!English class has also helped me improve my vocabulary, grammar, and other communication skills a ton. Being able to read, write, and speak more effectively is obviously a valuabletool for the rest of my life, no matter what career I pursue. I tend to be a bit shy, but feeling confident in my communication abilities helps me feel more comfortable expressing myself. What else do I enjoy about English? I could go on and on! Making connections between the literature we read and real life. Engaging in deep discussions and debates. Exploring new perspectives. Focusing on my creativity. Every day in English class is intellectually stimulating in such a fun way.I have to admit, English isn't the easiest subject for me. Writing papers, analyzing complicated texts, and remembering grammar rules can definitely be challenging at times. But that's part of what makes it so rewarding and meaningful when I succeed and improve my skills. It gives me such a big sense of pride and accomplishment.I'm honestly a little sad that this is my last year of regular English classes before I go to high school. After this year, I'll only have English for a single period each day instead of being fully immersed in it. I know I'll continue reading and writing as much as I can on my own though. Maybe I'll even start my own blog or writing club!Well, there you have it - my passionate plea for why English is the best subject. The reading, writing, analyzing, discussing, and overall engagement with the English language is just so stimulating and rewarding for me. I truly believe the skills I'm developing in English will help me succeed in all areas of life. Not everyone may share my enthusiasm for English, and that's okay. We all have our favorite subjects and things we're most passionate about. But I just had to take this opportunity to declare my love for English once and for all. Thanks for reading my essay and letting me express why English will always have a special place in my heart!篇5My Favorite Subject is EnglishHi there! My name is Emma and I'm a 7th grader at Oakwood Middle School. Today I want to tell you all about my favorite subject - English class! I just love everything about it. Reading cool books, writing awesome stories, and learning new words and grammar rules. It's so much fun!One of the best parts of English is reading time. Our teacher, Mrs. Peterson, always picks the most amazing novels for us to read together as a class. Last semester, we read "The Giver" by Lois Lowry. It was set in this future society where everything was controlled and everyone had an assigned role. The maincharacter, Jonas, was selected to be the next Receiver of Memory. It was his job to keep all the real memories from the past, before this "Sameness" society existed. I found the whole concept so fascinating! During our class discussions, we talked a lot about things like freedom, individuality, and human nature. Really deep stuff for a bunch of 7th graders, but Mrs. Peterson has a way of making it all make sense.Right now, we're reading the classic novel "To Kill A Mockingbird" by Harper Lee. It takes place in Alabama during the Great Depression and deals with issues of racial injustice. The narrator is this little girl named Scout, and she's telling the story from her childhood perspective as her lawyer father, Atticus Finch, is defending a Black man wrongly accused of a crime. Even though the book was written ages ago, the themes and messages still feel so relevant today. My favorite character is Scout's friend Dill - he's hilarious and reminds me of my own crazy best friend!Of course, reading the books is just the start. The best part is analyzing them in class discussions and writing essays to share our thoughts and opinions. I love getting deep into analyzing the symbolism, the character motivations, the historical context, and more. It's like being a detective, unraveling all the layers anddeeper meanings in the text. Sometimes the symbolism feels super obvious, but other times I'm blown away bythe connections Mrs. Peterson points out that I totally missed. Like in The Giver when we realized the sled on the cover represents Jonas' memories and desire for freedom - mind definitely blown!Writing essays is my absolute favorite part of English class. I just love taking everything I've learned from analyzing the books and poetry and then crafting my own analysis essays to share my unique perspective and arguments. I have a blast picking out the perfect pieces of evidence from the text to support my thesis statement. And I'm a total word nerd, so I geek out over learning new vocabulary words and rhetorical devices to make my writing more sophisticated and persuasive. For our latest essay, I argued that Atticus Finch is a true moral hero who embodies the themes of courage, integrity, and fighting for justice - even when it's extremely unpopular or puts you at risk. I filled my essay with examples from the text showing his noble character and principles. Like when he says, "You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view ... until you climb into his skin and walk around in it." That quote just perfectly sums up Atticus's wise empathy and commitment to seeing things from the other person'sperspective. I wove in rhetorical devices like that metaphor, parallelism, and varied syntax to make my writing more powerful and persuasive. Revising and polishing my essays is hard work, but so rewarding when I get a great grade! We also have creative writing units where we get to let our imaginations run wild and compose our own original stories, poems, or scripts. I still remember the spooky ghost story I wrote last year about a haunted carnival. It gave me chills rereading my own creepy descriptions and dialoguel! For our current unit, I'm working on writing a series of poems from different perspectives and personalities. So far, I have a moody poemmocking teenager, an anxious but determined athlete before a big game, and a joyful kindergarten student on the first day of school. Playing with different voices and styles is a blast - it's like being an actor stepping into new roles! You know, I realize I've been rambling for ages about English class, but I could honestly go on and on. From learning etymology and roots, to mastering clauses and punctuation, to reciting poetry with emphasis and expression - every part of English is fun and fascinating to me. Reading, writing, speaking, listening - I'm all in! It's hard work, sure, but that makes it even more satisfying when I master a new skill or concept.Like just last week, we learned about verbal phrases and participles. At first, I was pretty confused trying to identify the participles in sentences. But then Mrs. Peterson showed us examples of how using participles effectively can make your writing more concise and descriptive. Like instead of saying, "The pig that was rolling in the mud, it was a funny sight to see," you could write "The mud-rolling pig was a funny sight." Using that present participle "mud-rolling" as an adjective makes the meaning clear in a much more engaging way. Once I started recognizing and using participles properly, it was like a whole new writing skill unlocked for me! Accomplishments like that make me feel like a true "Word Warrior" haha.Honestly, English is more than just a subject for me - it's a passion. Whether I'm analyzing character motivations, crafting descriptive metaphors, reciting poetry with emphasis, or unraveling symbolism, it feeds my insatiable curiosity and creativity. I'm always eager to absorb new concepts to strengthen my reading, writing, speaking, and thinking abilities. I'm forever grateful to awesome teachers like Mrs. Peterson who bring out the very best in me and nurture my love of language every single day.So that's why English will always be my favorite subject. Reading literature exposes me to profound human experiences and perspectives. Writing allows me to find my voice and creatively express my deepest thoughts. And mastering grammar and vocabulary empowers me to communicate with more clarity and nuance. The way I see it, the better I can read, write, and make my way through the world - the richer my life will be. I'm passionate about honing my English skills because they are the keys that will unlock so many doors for me in the future. Who knows - maybe one day I'll become a bestselling author, poet laureate, English professor, or renowned journalist! All I know is that my journey as a Word Warrior has only just begun. So that's my take on why English class is just the best thing ever. I could write a whole book series on my nerdy love for language and literature, but I'll wrap it up now. In the immortal words of Dr. Seuss, "The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go!" And with my passion for English as my guide, I'm ready to go absolutely anywhere my future takes me. Thanks for reading my essay - I'll keep fighting the good fight for Literature and all my fellow Word Warriors out there!。

The English course in the second semester of Junior One was particularly impactful because it built on the foundational knowledge we had gained in the first semester and introduced more complex grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills. The course was structured in a way that made learning both fun and engaging. We often participated in interactive activities such as role-playing, group discussions, and storytelling. These activities not only helped us practice our speaking skills but also boosted our confidence in using the language in real-life situations. I vividly remember a project where we had to create a short play entirely in English. This project was not only enjoyable but also incredibly educational, as it required us to apply our language skills creatively and collaboratively. One of the highlights of the English course was the introduction to English literature. We read various short stories, poems, and excerpts from classic novels, which opened up a whole new world of imagination and ideas. Literature has always been a gateway to different cultures, perspectives, and experiences, and our English course did an excellent job of showcasing this.Reading and analyzing literature helped improve my comprehension skills and taught me to appreciate the nuances of language. For example, we read a story by O. Henry, known for his surprise endings and clever use of irony. Discussing the story in class, we explored themes of love, sacrifice, and human nature, which made me realize how literature can reflect and shape our understanding of the world.Another reason why I love English is the emphasis it places on effec tive communication. Her teaching methods were innovative and student-centered, which made learning English a dynamic and interactive experience. Our teacher also went beyond the textbook, incorporating multimedia resources such as movies, songs, and online articles to make lessons more relatable and engaging. It is fascinating how it explains the world around us, from the smallest particles to the vastness of space. In Science class, we get to do experiments and see theories come to life. I love the hands-on experience of conducting experiments, especially when we get to mix different chemicals and observe the reactions. It's like being a detective, trying to figure out how things work and why they happen.Science also helps me to understand the world better. 我最喜欢的课程英语作文初一,数学

我最喜欢的课程英语作文初一,数学

我最喜欢的课程英语作文初一,数学Mathematics, my favorite subject in middle school, has always been a perplexing labyrinth of numbers and equations, each problem a maze waiting to be unraveled. Unlike the simplicity of addition or subtraction, it delves into the realm of complexities, igniting a peculiar fascinationwithin me.Upon delving into the depths of mathematical theories, I am constantly confronted with the enigma of numbers, each one possessing its own unique identity and purpose. In therealm of mathematics, equations serve as the language through which the universe communicates its secrets, and I, a humble student, am but a curious explorer deciphering its cryptic messages. One aspect of mathematics that never fails to captivate my interest is its inherent logic. Unlike the ambiguity often found in language or the subjectivity of art, mathematics adheres to strict rules and principles. Every theorem, every proof, follows a logical sequence, leading inexorablyfrom premise to conclusion. It is a realm governed by reason and order, where even the most complex problems can be broken down into simple, manageable steps. Moreover, mathematics possesses a universal quality that transcends cultural and linguistic barriers. Whether one is in Beijing or New York, the language of mathematics remains the same. This universality grants me a sense of connection to the wider world, knowing that the principles I study are not confined to the walls of my classroom but extend across continents and civilizations.Yet, perhaps the most gratifying aspect of studying mathematics is the sense of achievement that accompanies solving a particularly challenging problem. There is a profound satisfaction in unraveling a complex equation or discovering an elegant solution to a problem that has confounded me for hours. Each success serves as a testament to my perseverance and intellect, fueling my passion for the subject even further. In conclusion, mathematics is not merely a subject to bestudied but a journey to be embarked upon, filled with twists and turns, challenges and triumphs. It is a subject that appeals to my logical mind, stimulates my curiosity, and offers a sense of accomplishment like no other. For these reasons and more, it will always hold a special place in my heart as my favorite subject.。

我最喜欢的课程英语作文初一,数学My Favorite Subject - MathematicsMathematics has always been my favorite subject since I started school. I find it fascinating how numbers, equations, and formulas can be used to solve real-life problems and make sense of the world around us. In this essay, I will discuss why I love mathematics and how it has influenced my academic journey. One of the reasons why I love mathematics is because it challenges me to think critically and logically. When solving a mathematical problem, I have to break it down into smaller parts, analyze the information given, and apply mathematical concepts and operations to find the solution. This process requires me to think step by step, use my problem-solving skills, and look for patterns and relationships between numbers. I enjoy the feeling of satisfaction that comes from successfully solving a difficult math problem, as it gives me a sense of accomplishment and boosts my confidence.Mathematics teaches me valuable skills that are applicable in other subjects and in real life. For example, the ability to think logically and critically is not only important in math but also in subjects like science, technology, and engineering. Mathematicshelps me develop my analytical skills, improve my attention to detail, and enhance my ability to reason and make informed decisions. These skills are crucial in our increasingly complex and data-driven world, where mathematics plays a key role in fields such as finance, computer science, and economics. Moreover, I am inspired by the beauty and elegance of mathematics. I am amazed by how mathematical concepts such as symmetry, geometry, and algebra can be used to describe the patterns and structures found in nature, art, and architecture. Mathematics provides a universal language that transcends cultural and linguistic barriers, allowing us to communicate ideas, theories, and discoveries in a precise and concise manner. The beauty of mathematics lies in its simplicity, order, and clarity, as it enables us to understand the world in a deeper and more meaningful way.In conclusion, mathematics is my favorite subject because it challenges me to think critically and logically, teaches me valuable skills that are applicable in other subjects and in real life, and inspires me with its beauty and elegance. I believe that studying mathematics has enriched my academic journey, broadened my intellectual horizons, and prepared me for future success in a rapidly changing and competitive world. I amgrateful for the opportunity to learn and explore the wonders of mathematics, and I look forward to furthering my knowledge and skills in this fascinating and rewarding subject.。

英语作文我最喜欢的科目优秀范文My Favorite SubjectSchool is full of so many interesting subjects to learn about! From math where we get to solve puzzles with numbers, to science where we explore the wonders of nature, to art class where we can let our creativity run wild with paints and clay. But if I had to choose just one favorite subject, it would definitely be English class!English is the best because it combines so many of my favorite things. We get to read the most amazing stories about brave heroes, magical lands, talking animals, and more. Some of the books we've read this year like Charlotte's Web, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, and The BFG have transported me to incredible worlds that feel even more real than reality. I get utterly lost in those books, feeling like I'm right there alongside the characters on their adventures.Reading those enthralling tales isn't even the best part though. After we finish each book, we get to discuss it and share our thoughts and opinions. I love hearing what my classmates think about the different characters and plot events. It's so much fun to debate things like whether the White Witch was truly evilor just misunderstood. Or pondering the deeper life lessons we can learn from Wilbur's friendship with Charlotte. Exchanging different perspectives really helps bring the books to life. Then there are the creative writing assignments where we get to craft our very own stories and let our imaginations run wild. I love choosing vivid details to describe the quirky characters, deciding on high stakes problems for them to face, and coming up with clever ways for them to ultimately triumph against all odds. Weaving all those narrative threads together into one cohesive tale is both challenging and rewarding.Last month, we even got to write and perform our own short plays for the class! My group's play was about a cupcake kingdom whose citizens were being oppressed by an evil baker who wanted the cupcakes all to himself. We made the sets out of shoeboxes and construction paper, and used stuffed animals as actors. Putting on that miniature production was one of the highlights of the entire school year so far!Apart from reading literature and creative writing, English class also covers poetry which is another passion of mine. There's something so beautiful and magical about how just the right combination of words can evoke certain imagery, emotions, and entire worlds within your mind. My personal favorites are thewondrous poems about nature and the changing seasons. Like the one about autumn leaves where the poet describes "rioting tints of red and gold" and a "wildly whirling wintry blast." I can vividly picture those poetic scenes in my imagination.Sometimes we even try our hand at writing our own poems during English class. It's nearly impossible for me to capture natural wonders as eloquently as the renowned poets we study. But I still get such a thrill out of experimenting with rhymes, rhythms, and descriptive metaphors. Even if my poem is just a simple four-line creation about the night sky or daffodils bobbing in the breeze, I feel an immense sense of pride after sculpting it from start to finish.Another amazing part of English is that it helps improve so many useful life skills beyond just reading and writing. Constantly analyzing books and discussing them out loud among my peers has really boosted my communication abilities and critical thinking talents. Coming up with arguments to defend my opinions on different literary interpretations, then weighing and responding to counterpoints from others - it's not only preparing me to be a more effective debater, but also a more persuasive writer down the road. And when we work on writing stories or essays, the process of taking blazing ideas from my imagination and organizing them into a cohesive, logical structure with multiple paragraphs and smooth transitions between them...well, talk about great training for any sort of long-form writing or presentation I'll eventually need to do! These skills are sure to come in handy whether I grow up to be a novelist, public speaker, scientist, business leader, or anything else.English class has also opened my eyes to the incredible diversity of cultures, perspectives, and life experiences that exist all around us. In just the past few months, we've explored folktales and fables from Asia, Africa, Europe, and indigenous peoples across the globe. Each one provides a unique window into how different communities have passed down their histories, morals, humor, and wisdom over generations through the art of storytelling. We talk a lot about the human universals of love, loss, hope, and perseverance that intertwine all those traditional narratives together. But we also discuss how the specific details and symbols used to convey those universal truths can vary vastly depending on the customs, environments, and belief systemswithin each distinct culture. It's fascinating to analyze those cross-cultural connections and differences. Most importantly though, English class is just downright fun! Yes, all the reading, writing, analysis, and rigorous skill building can be challenging and requires hard work. But at the end of the day, whether I'm getting swept away into the most fanciful of fairy tales or expressing myself through limitless creative outlets, English always feels less like work and more like joyful playtime. It feeds my curiosities, sparks my imagination, and fills me with that sense of wonder that all kids should experience daily.Maybe that's why English has become my favorite school subject above all others. Or maybe it's simply because I'm already in love with words and stories. But whatever the reason, I eagerly look forward to English class every single day, and I'm sure that passion will only keep growing as I continue my literary journey throughout life. Some kids may prefer math, science, history or other subjects. For me though, English will always be number one.。
