About Taiwan Earthquake
On Tuesday, September 21, 1999, an earthquake, also called the 921 earthquake, happened at 01:47 a.m. in Nantou County, Taiwan. 2,415 people were killed, 11,305 were badly hurt, more than 100,000 people made homeless by the quake.
