一堂语法课的教学设计

一、教学目标:通过本课的学习,所有学生都能够学会运用本课词汇,理解一般过去时态的用法,了解陈述一件事情的逻辑顺序,并能够运用所学知识,使用正确的时态简要表达自己的一段经历。通过本课的学习帮助学生能够从思想上珍惜自己的友情。

二、教学重难点:运用重点单词和短语,使用一般过去时态表达自己的经历。

三、学法指导:在应用中学会语法知识,三步阅读法,写作指导。

四、教学过程:

step i warming up and leading in

get the students to read the pictures and have a free talk:tips: 1. how does the girl feel in the house?

2. why is she happy when she comes out?

3. what’s in her hands? who gave it to her?

4. what does the letter mean to the two girls?

设计意图:通过读图练习,既可以让学生根据提示问题预测即将阅读的文章内容,同时更重要的是可以让学生在自由轻松的环境下发挥自己的想象力,运用英语进行表达交流。

step ii reading

1. read the passage quickly and answer the question:what’s the relationship between the two girls?

2. read the passage again and number (1-7) the

activities in the order they happened.

— i filled the basket with grass, flowers and candy. — she listened to music.

— we became good friends.

— i folded a basket.

— she threw a tennis ball in the air and caught it. — she read on the front porch.

— i put the basket on her doorstep, rang the

doorbell and hid behind a tree.

设计意图:通过按照事情发生的顺序排序,使学生大体理解如何陈述自己的一段经历,在课件中将动词的过去式标注为红色字体,学生在阅读过程中会不自觉的对红体单词进行关注。从而起到对动词过去式的强调作用。

3. read and think: how can we write about a past event?

通过学生的思考讨论,引导学生得出以下两个结论:

(1)when we talk about a past event, we should use the simple past tense.

help the students to learn how to use the simple past tense:usually we add -ed after a verb to form the past form of the word. but sometimes many verbs may have special past forms,like became, threw, etc. so we should pay attention to them,

especially when the past form is the same as the original form,e.g. put, read, etc.

(2)when we talk about a past event, we usually write the activities in the order that they happened.(除了按照事情发展的顺序,还可以使用那些顺序?怎样可以表达的更富有逻辑性?)

(encourage the students to talk about their own ideas. it’s good to talk about whatever they think. if they can’t express their ideas in english, they can do it in chinese.)

设计意图:通过学生的讨论得出当我们在讨论自己一段经历的时候应该运用过去时态,并且通常会按照事情发生的顺序来表述。同时,引导学生理解掌握一般过去时态的用法,根据学生的知识构建,强调动词过去式的构成,其中主要结合文章中出现的动词过去式学习。

step iii writing

a. 题目要求

who is your best friend? there must have been lots of interesting stories between you and your friends. write a short story that happened between you and him/her.

要求:

1. 最好能够写你和朋友之间发生的真实的经历。

2. 正确运用一般过去时态和动词的过去式。(动词过去式可参照

课本后不规则动词表)

3. 注意按照合适的逻辑条理来叙述。

参考问题:

who is your best friend?

when did you become good friends?

what happened between you and him/her?

b.写作

在学生写作过程中,对个别学生存在的问题给予适时的帮助,但不要打断学生思路。

c.作文点评

采用partners相互评价修改,小组讨论评价,教师点评的方式,找到文章中的闪光点和可借鉴的词、句、结构。并找出可以改进的方面。

设计意图:英语语言学科的特点是兼具工具性与人文性的特点,语法的学习,也不是单纯的孤零零的语法学习,而是在真实的活动和体验中学会应用。因此课堂拓展练习是让学生在真实的语境中对语法知识进行运用。

step iv summary and consolidation

1.remind the words and phrases in the passage.

2.the students summarize how to write a successful passage about a past event: how to use the simple past tense and write the activities in the order they happened.
